In Between Takes goes live!

In Between Takes is an account of my day-to-day personal experiences on the sets of Philippine TV/movies.

As they say: "Walang bida kung walang extra" (There are no stars without the extras and bit players). I am one of those perennial extras and bit players, playing myriad parts to support and accentuate the roles of lead stars.

In my early years as a bit player my roles were sometimes so fleeting that I was there and gone before you knew it — did you even spot me in Pag Oras Mo, Oras Mo Na (2001)? And was I villainous enough as General Garcia in the teleserye Maria Flordeluna (ABS-CBN, 2007)?

Aside from acting, my other passion is writing.

I have put both passions together through my Between Takes column for The Zamboanga Peninsula Journal. My Between Takes articles are also distributed through various online distribution lists. In Between Takes is the next step towards making my writings more widely accessible by the public.
