“My Taping for Your Song, Part 2″

I got off from the van and joined the crew who had arrived just a few minutes after we arrived. As the fog slowly disappeared, I had a clear view of the entire hospital compound which is very interesting. It is more of a resort rather than a hospital. A couple of Golf Buggy was parked near the shooting vehicles. The parking areas are all landscaped with ornamental plants! There is a building that has a grand ball room which could be used as venue for big events!

Bella gave meal coupons to the crew. When I asked Bella if she is also giving me a coupon, she told me no because I will be joining the lead stars and the staff for the meals. She asked me to get inside the hospital Dining Area where the separate breakfast for the lead stars and production staff will be served.

Metropolitan Medical Center is not your typical hospital. I agree with Beegee that the owners must have really intended it for a new market: the retirees from abroad who would either come over to the Philippines for good or to simply have a vacation. It is near Tagaytay and the beaches of Nasugbu, Batangas. They can stay in the hospital so that they can easily have medical attention and from time to  time visit the nearby tourist areas.

I have not seen a single patient when I walked to the Dining Area of the hospital. The dining area was super clean. Actually, it was not functioning as a hospital canteen yet since there was no canteen. The location master made arrangement that the Dining Area will be used for the stars and the production staff. It has a glass wall that allows a view of the air soft battleground, firing range, glass house, vegetable garden and big swimming pool below. After a few minutes, Direk Trina Dayrit joined us in the Dining Area for breakfast. I then personally thanked her for my booking by Tita Angge for this tv show.

I did not worry that I will be infected with contagious diseases while taping because the entire third floor that we used did not have even a single patient. I  was given a hospital room as my stand by area which I shared with Jairus Aquino – the little boy of Kung Fu Kids and Super Inggo. The stars (Angelica, Wendy, Zanjoe and TJ) have their own separate rooms.
