Thanks, Direk Trina Dayrit, Beegee and Tita Mae

 The first project that I had worked with Direk Trina Dayrit was “Pangako Sa Yo” where I played one of the lawyers of Madame Claudia (Jean Garcia). I was on a semi-regular basis and my tapings lasted for almost two years. That was seven years ago. We worked again in “Basta’t Kasama Kita” where I played the Medico-Legal of the Eagles – the elite undercover agents led by Robin Padilla. Taping for BKK lasted for more than one year. Very briefly, we worked again in “Krystala” and “Margarita”.  For all these time that I had worked with her, I would simply describe Direk Trina as cool. I never saw her in a bad mood. She is always cool and soft spoken every time she gives instruction.
 
Two weeks ago, when I got a text message from Amie, a staff Tita Angge a.k.a. Cornelia Lee that they will book me for a role in a new episode of “Your Song”, I was in a quandary who would have referred me to Tita Angge. Being able to get a booking by Tita Angge is a source of pride among us struggling character actors such that in my earlier article I was asking myself to whom should I be thankful for being introduced  to Tita Angge.
 
If I were to make a  wild guess for an  answer to my question, my guess is: Direk Trina  Dayrit! What is my bases for making  that guess? You see, I got a call from Direk Trina last 21 May on another matter when she asked me if I had already been informed about my role in “Your Song”. I told her that I got a text message from Amie – staff of Tita Angge about it. Next word that came out from my heart was “thank you direk!”
 
I am 100% per cent sure that I owe it to Direk Trina for giving my name to Tita Angge. Let me venture this possible scenario: Direk had chosen me for a role in “Your Song” and must have asked Beegee (of the Production Staff) to contact me for the role. By the way, Beegee Soldao is also another friend of mine who was also with the production staff of Pangako Sa Yo.  Beegee could have texted me directly and informed me that I would be taping for the show. However, since the role is a supporting role, she referred my name to Tita Angge. Of course, Beegee must have asked Tita Mae Santos (the Executive Producer) for her clearance. For this reason, I am likewise indebted to Beegee and Tita Mae and the rest of the “Your Song” production staff for their kindness!
 
By the way, taping for this new episode of “Your Song” started last May 16. Amie of Tita Angge had texted that finally I will be taping on the May 27.
 
I am now very excited to shoot for this new project with Direk Trina. Right now I do not have any idea yet as to who are the lead stars of this new episode of “Your Song”, who would be my co-actors and even what my role is!
 
Expect that I will give you updates on this new episode of “Your Song” once I will be done with my taping on the May 27.
 
For now, let me once again say Maraming Salamat Direk Trina, Beegee,Tita Mae Santos and the rest of the production staff of “Your Song”.
