The “Kapamilya” and “Kapuso” tags used by ABS-CBN and GMA networks best describe how we, Filipinos consider each other: we are all related! The words “close ba kayo?” comes to my mind as I was making a mental outline for this article.

As early as Saturday afternoon, the sign that typhoon Frank was going to make a difference was already manifested. My wife and I went to the grocery for our weekly supply at about 3:00 p.m. last Saturday. The sky was already dark. We were able to finish marketing at about 5:45 p.m. When I went out to the parking area, it was already drizzling. I did not bring the umbrella when we went inside the grocery so I had to run to my car trying to evade the droplets of the rain.

Perhaps because my youngest daughter had stayed at home the whole summer vacation after she decided to quit from her job to take up law this school year, I had the chance to to watch every day the reality show “Pinoy Big Brother, Teen Edition 2 Plus”. You see, my daughter was watching it every night! That is why I know Ejay, Robi, Beauty and Nicole so much!
In fact, I had voted for Robi for five times, four times when he was nominated for the same number and once in the finals. It goes without saying that I belong to the solid Robians (he,he,he,he) who were disappointed when he lost to Ejay in the Big Night!

While most of the televiewers usually take their nap on Sunday afternoon, a good number still watch tv shows. Last Sunday, June 8, “Your Song” got a rating of 12. 7% while the shows of GMA channel 7 on same time slot, Pinoy Idol Extra got only 8.1% and Tasya Fantasya got only 8.4%. The time slot is 2:45 to 3:45 p.m.
The episode of “Your Song” is the second installment of “I’ll Take Care of You” which topbills Wendy Valdez, TJ Trinidad, Zanjoe Marudo and Angelica Panganiban. Also in the cast are veteran Ramil Rodriguez, child actor Jairus Aquino and yours truly where I play as the attending doctor of Wendy Valdez and TJ Trinidad.

During the lunch break, since the Dining Area was very spacious, we had a table for each one of us! I was alone in a table opposite another table where Wendy Valdez was seated. I exchanged smiles with Wendy as I remembered the last time we worked together in her first teleserye “Margarita”. I had taped for three days already. However, just when my scenes as the Congressman that Dick Israel was running against in the elections was about to be aired, the show was suddenly ended! I had viva hot babe Andrea del Rosario as my mistress on that show which was abruptly terminated. It could have been my longest exposure after my stint in Maria Flordeluna!
