During the lunch break, since the Dining Area was very spacious, we had a table for each one of us! I was alone in a table opposite another table where Wendy Valdez was seated.  I exchanged smiles with Wendy as I remembered the last time we worked together in her first teleserye “Margarita”. I had taped for three days already. However, just when my scenes as the Congressman that Dick Israel was running against in the elections was about to be aired, the show was suddenly ended! I had viva hot babe Andrea del Rosario as my mistress on that show which was abruptly terminated. It could have been my longest exposure after my stint in Maria Flordeluna!

TJ Trinidad was on another table. I recalled that I had two previous projects with him. The first one was in “Wansapanatym” – the episode about werewolf. I could not forget this episode where I was one of the animal hunters/friends of Paquito Diaz. We were taping inside La Mesa dam  and I had fond memories working with Paquito Diaz who played as father of TJ. I almost cried when I watched tito Paquito two weeks ago on Rated K of Korina Sanchez. He looked like the late Tony Santos Sr., thin, without his trademark moustache after the stroke he had. The second project was in “Gulong ng Palad” were TJ played lead role of Carding. I was playing the police officer that arrested Andrea del Rosario, Lito Pimentel and other villains. I really thought that after Gulong ng Palad TJ would already become a big star…I just pray that this episode of Your Song will open new doors for TJ and all of us!

When taping resumed, I had a scene with Zanjoe and Angelica. We were in the hospital lobby and Direk Trina used several passers by (patients, nurses and doctors ) to simulate a busy hospital operation. In between the takes, I exchanged pleasantries with the bit players and extras whom I had a chance to work with in the past.

During the afternoon merienda break, Tita Mae Santos (sister of Charo Santos) who is the Executive Producer of  Your Song treated us with pansit because it was her birthday that day!

My last scene was taken at about 5:00 a.m. of the next day. We were packed up at 6:00 a.m. I thanked all of the staff from Direk Trina, Abel, Beegee for a very fulfilling taping day! I took the same van with Beegee and the staff for our trip back to Quezon City. As we were passing Tagaytay. I thanked God for such beautiful view! Moreover, I thank Him for this blessing of having the chance to work in this episode of Your Song. Sana panooorin ninyo!

P.S. When I watched the first installment of the show last sunday, the episode’s title is now  "I’ll Take Care of You" which i think is more popular than "Random Hearts" which was the working title.
