“Althea Vega:Watching a Rising Star – the Conclusion”

Egay Sandalo -

When I went back to the location of “Kolorete” for another shooting, Althea was already there. I told her what I learned from Beth that her project is a bold movie! Althea then started telling me about her  project with Direk Joel Lamangan.

A few days later, she texted me if she can visit me at my office. I told her to come during our lunch break. This reminded me of another new friend in our Philippine Cinema YahooGroup who commented that it would be better if I just have to concentrate with my work at SSS. I simply smiled with the thought that there are still a lot of people who have not heard of multi-tasking.  Or of multi-talented individuals. Or if they are aware of it, they are simply inept to do a paradism shift.  There

“Althea Vega: Watching a Rising Star, Part 2″

As one of my new friends in the Philippine Cinema yahoogroup rightfully commented, “kulang na lang na pati pagdighay ni Egay ay isusulat na niya”, well friends brace for yourself as I am having the urge of writing about how I fart! Joke.

After I posted my article in several yahoogroups in the internet seeking for technical assistance on how to post my rape scene with Ara Mina (which is on VHS version) on the You Tube, I received numerous response giving technical advises on how to do it.

“Kolorete:Rained-out But Never Down During Its Shooting, Part 2″

Egay Sandalo -

During the heavy downpour, I was hoping that it would last only for 30 minutes. That way, I told myself if the rain stopped at 4:30 p.m., and the sun would come out again, there would still be time left to shoot my outdoor scenes and after dinner, we can shoot my remaining indoor scenes. I could still go home before midnight. However, the rain lasted for 1 hour and 10 minutes. It was already dark  at 5:00 p.m. and besides everyone was dripping wet. There was no way that we could still shoot my outdoor scenes which was set to have been taken at 2:45 p.m.
